India beats New Zealand with strong plays by batsman Harbhajan Singh
India beat New Zealand on the evening of the 4th day as the second Test continues in Hyderabad.
While they put up a strong defence, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750’s advantage was the fact that Zaheer Khan left the game halfway through
his fifth over.
Brendon McCullum made a strong show of force by blocking Sreenanth when he came out to bowl, effectively throwing him for a loop. With a cover-driven first ball and an upper-cut in his second over, McCullum managed a pull from outside in his third over,
while Sreesanth bowled three no-balls in the first of four overs.
In light of two consecutive overs from Tim Southee, and picking three couples, Harbhajan played brilliantly. Sreesanth played a supporting role and the two co-operated effectively.
Harbhajan turned down singles at the start of the over, taking advantage of the worn-out New Zealanders arriving with two singles in the course of two overs. He brought home six more, and Sreesanth managed an edged four lasting for 71 balls, making this
his longest innings in the Tests.
Just past 45 minutes into the day, Daniel Vettori managed to divide them, but the damage had already been done.
Harbjajan has had a good Test so far, having continued to court http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hyderabad-c792. He added 105 with Sreesanth in the 10th-wicket partnership in India, thirty-six of these arrived in his last game.
