Question:

India ink alternative?

I have a friend who wants to know if Henna can be a substitute for India Ink under the skin?

I'm not asking for answers about going to a tattoo parlor to get a tattoo or anything, I just want to know if anyone has put it under their skin when making a home made tattoo, and what the effects were?

I'm also not saying we're going to use it to make home made tattoos, we know first hand the cons to that!

Thanks!

  1. Oh well um if theres a tattoo place near by go and ask them im sure they would know

oh a person above saying henna is toxic...well i have a henna tattoo(the temp. ones) and it hasnt made me sick or anything like people say. Yea some people could be allergic to what they use but other then that i dont think its toxic because if it was then why would they put it at a public place where ppl can get them?

And a real tattoo can get infected and you could get some disese from the needles if your not carful on who you get to do it. Make sure they are sterilized.

one more thing DONT USE BLACK HENNA that is a diff form of the orignal henna and can scar your skin other then that the reg. henna should be ok

  2. I'm not posting this to be nagging or sound rude in anyway, just to let you know. but henna is toxic and can cause serious health problems...its safer to get a normal tat...but again just letting you know.

  3. I have a star on my ankle that I did two years ago.

I don't regret it.. but now I realise how risky It could have been.

Make sure you get it done by a pro.

I was lucky I didn't get ink poisoning or something.

If you do go ahead. Remember you are responsible for your actions.
