India or Pakistan?

Which country do westerners prefer even if you have never visited.

I've never been to either and am not particularly interested in doing so.  This is just because I view both of them as being quite unsafe - I'm a single female so would be worried about getting harrassed by guys, as well as random suicide bombers.  My dad used to live in Pakistan and he said that he constantly felt unsafe (and he lived on a compound for Westeners) and he got the h**l out as quick as he could.

But on the whole I think English people would rather visit India; in particular the beaches of Goa are very popular with English travellers.

I'd say India.

For no better reason than the current turmoil in Pakistan at the moment would give me serious hesitation in going there!

probably India as we have always had strong ties with them over the past years as it was british to a certain extent, but really and truly the two aren't worth siht, and the world would be better place if both countries sunk into the sea with all the people as well,

I've never been to either, but it really depends on what you want from the trip. Pakistan is more adventurous and off the beaten track, yet India is a sure, safe tourist destination with a vibrant culture. India has more obvious tourist attractions/facilities and the current situation in Pakistan would discourage me from visiting there.

I like India Better.

It seems to have a very interesting culture to me,  and "OH MY GOD"  some of the Girls from there are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS !!
