Question:

India plays so well, Why do we always lose in the finals?

Disregarding the CB Series in Australia, India usually ends up losing the finals. We thrash teams with large margins and get into the finals. Why is it that we always end up losing the finals? After the CB Series we really haven't had a big victory. What can India work on to overcome this problem?

I personally think it's due to over confidence.

  1. They obviously can't handle pressure & as you said, overconfidence is a big factor.

Edit: OZ? above, at least if he does deal with our batsman like he did yours, we won't be calling him crook. He is just a damned good bowler, too good for your batsmen.Accept it

  2. Yes, u are right. It is overconfidence.  Before a match against a team they have just beaten, they get too overconfidence. And when they lose early wickets, pressure gets to them and from there they cannot recover. Its a problem Indian teams have had in the past against other teams. Like they say in my family - jeeta hua match bhi haar jate hai!!

  3. the real test comes in the final. but getting to the finals is also a challenge. but india weren't up to the task

  4. just bad luck

  5. coz u get over confident

u try to blame the winning team for winning

  6. India gets pressure in finals so they lose it.

  7. Oh dear!!! Could it be the umpire's fault again?  BUT BUT Steve Bucknor wasn't the umpire....
