Question:

India runs?

Where did the term "Indian run" originate?

For those of you who do not know what I am talking about... an Indian run is a type of training used in track & XC which consists of the entire team jogging in a straight line, and the last runner picks up the pace until he or she in the front of the pack.

Is this a racial term?

Is it a type of training Native American did to stay in shape?

Thanks(*)
