India should be proud that some people prefer to overstay ?

Why are Indians from India so backward and pure inhuman the way they treat the people who have overstayed whereas the hard core criminals are treated better than foreigners when caught overstaying. They should be elated that some poor people decided to overstay in India. I think the laws of India are so aged but no one is intelligent enough to change it.

anyone who overstays his visa in a different country gets treated equally - it is the same all over man.  get a reality check.  if u overstayed, india didnt want u - get the hint

There's nothing to be "proud" of ... Overstaying is illegal and punishable .

I agree,however , that the standards of Indian jails are really bad and inhuman in most of the cases . They should have a special cell for such foreign detainees.

well most of gori girls(foreigner girls) go back the minute they come out of airport.there are some bravehearts who come through all the poverty,corruption,cheaters,stareres and then when they learn to come through this,they wish to stay here for ever.lawas are good but inplementing them is bad.

I agree,though i am not poor by " indian standard" I know, that some of the richest people, come from india, but the wealth is not evenly distibuted. but i object to paying for a visa that only lasts 6 months. what happens if i stay one week over?. they gonna throw me in jail?.i go twice a year to india, obviously, my visa runs out during the time between the two visits. think after 15 visits to your beautiful country, i should be allowed free entry. I am not going to claim asylum, be a burden on the tax payers and get all free handouts. impossible, so why the Visa?.
