International Hockey Federation (FIH) has accredited India as a host of four upcoming events of hockey. FIH made this announcement in its executive board meeting.
Here is a list of events to be held in India:
Men’s Champions Trophy 2011 will be held from 26 November – 4 December. Men’s and women’s Olympic qualifier will come-off in February 2012. Men’s and women’s junior world cup will take place from 2 – 17 November, 2013.

Asian Games 2010 ended on 25 November with Pakistan as triumphant of gold medal winning a direct berth in London Olympics 2012.
Men’s Champions trophy is next hockey event after Asian Games which will be held in India, New Delhi.
According to FIH, India duly deserves to be host of this event following successful conduct of hockey World Cup 2010 in New Delhi. FIH's communication manager Arjen Meijer conveyed this message in a press release.
The statement said, “After the success of the Hero Honda FIH World Cup in March this year, the FIH has decided to return to
India in 2011”
The 2010 men’s Hockey Championship Trophy was held from 31 July – 8 August, 2010 in Monchengladbach, Germany.
India will be hosting men’s Champion’s Trophy for the third time after the events in 1996 and 2005 in Chennai.
India will also be hosting a round of the men's World Series tournament in 2013.
On the other hand, Hockey World Cup 2014 will be held in The Netherlands.
“It was an incredibly difficult decision to make,” said FIH President Leandro Negre after declaring the winner.
