India tour of England 2011: Zaheer Khan ruled out of Edgbaston Test – Cricket News Update
Zaheer Khan’s hamstring strain has ruled him out of the third Test of the four-match series against England, starting August 10, at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
The 32-year-old http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Maharashtra-c811 pacer, in his latest fitness Test, showed no signs of improvement and will miss the upcoming Edgbaston Test and most likely the whole Test series.
The Indian spearhead pacer, who has not made a comeback to the grounds in the ongoing tour of England since the opening day of the Lord’s Test, could bowl only three overs in the two-day tour game against Northants at http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Northamptonshire-c824 before leaving the field.
The pacer left the ground for a treatment but never came back in the remainder of the drawn practice game.
