  1. which city with the taj mahal

  2. After Varanasi, try to visit Jabalpur (so as to connect to the hill resort of Amarkantak) and visits to upper reaches of Narmada river.

All midway between Varanasi n HYD

  3. Few important questions to you.....

    1. From where are you coming? What will be the base city for you? ( like Mumbai / Delhi..)  How many days you will be spending in India? What is the budget you have earmarked for this tour? Whether you are a backpacker / luxury traveller?

Only when such pivotal information is given by you can one suggest something very useful to you. Please do so, feel free to email ( if you think it's okay ).

I assume ( the way you have structured your querry ) you will touchdown at Lucknow. This is pretty interior in relation to the size of the country and the travel-infrastructure available.

Remember that India is a very vast country, has varying terrains, varying climates and beauty spots strewn all over the country. It's going to be very difficult to experience the essence of India in any single tour.

Since it seems your touch-base is Lucknow, I suggest, try extensive tour of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh and J&K in this tour. You will easily see many of the renowned places without wasting your time in travel.

If you really wish to be all over India in this tour you can base in Delhi ( few spots in Himachal, Uttaranchal and UP, Rajasthan ) then move to Mumbai ( base for Pune, Goa and few really really visitable spots in Maharashtra ). You can break your journey while travelling between Delhi and Mumbai and take a stop over at Ahmedabad or Ratlam and Surat ( Surat is hardly 3 hours train journey from Mumbai ).

As I suggested be specific about your requirements and feel free to email me.

Welcome to the beautiful country, INDIA.

  4. Sequentially u should arrange these places as under:

if u have a close look at the map, u will see that indian railways have zonal network so choose accordingly.

Suggested round trip is as given below, making an almost a circular travel except for a few deviations.

travel by second class sleeper, prefrably sleep by night  ,get down during day time and please note, accept mebbe delhi, no place deserves more than a days DARSHAN.Ratlam ,ujjain and sanchi could be done in 3-4 hours.Go ahead and buy a circu;lar rail ticket ,is much cheaper and by grreasing the palms of TTE, u cd get inside a sleeper any where any time!

  5. hello,

In India , u can see a small state DharamShala a very pleasant  atmosphere & then u go to Jaipur , Jodhpur, Pushkar, In my opinion if u go these places , u remember me & say all your friends take advice from me.
