India v England – 5th One Day International – Match Recap
India sealed a 5-0 win in the One Day International (ODI) series against visitors England, by handing them a staggering defeat of 95 runs in the final fixture of the tournament on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
After winning the toss, England put India to bat in a bid to grab a win and redeem some lost pride, however, their opponents had other plans as India were in no mood to make a compromise on their winning streak against a team which had recently humiliated
them in their tour of England this summer.

Still on 80 runs, India lost their third wicket when Rahane edged a delivery straight to Kieswetter off the bowling of pacer http://www.senore.com/Cricket/TT-Bresnan-c2711. The batsman walked back to the pavilion after scoring 42 runs off 61 deliveries.
With three wickets down, it seemed as if India were losing their grip and England were climbing back in the match.

India lost their fourth wicket after posting 123 runs on the board when Tiwary’s wicket was grabbed by medium pacer Stuart Meaker as Kieswetter took another well judged catch. The batsman scored 24 runs before losing his wicket.
Raina then departed on the penultimate delivery of the 37th over, when after smashing a knock of 38 runs he lost his wicket on a run out. At the time of this wicket India had posted 162 runs on the board.

From India, Jadeja was named as the Player of the Match for his commendable work with the ball, while skipper Dhoni was named as the Player of the Series for his astounding performance throughout the tournament.
