Chris Tremlett, the young English pacer, is hopeful of making a comeback in the ongoing npower Test series against India and playing the 3rd match, which is set to start from August 10, at Birmingham. He argues that the next two days in practice
nets will finally determine whether he is fit to bowl or not.
Tremlett, who played an instrumental role in his side’s tremendous victory in the opening Test at Lord’s by grabbing 4 wickets, had to skip the 2nd Test due to a back injury.
He was replaced by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/TT-Bresnan-c2711 at Trent Bridge. Bresnan substituted Tremlett as he took 7 wickets in two innings.
Now, the team selectors are sitting on the fence to chose between the two pacers. On the basis of his last excellent performance, Bresnan has more chances to be called for the 3rd Test; however, Tremlett may rejoin the team if he ensures his complete
fitness by tomorrow.

I bowled a couple of times in the week, not at full pace, and it has reacted at times and been a bit sore. The next two days will give me the chance

Commenting on his absence from the 2nd Test, he said, “I had a fitness test and I knew realistically I wouldn't have got through the game. The last thing I wanted to do was let my team-mates down by not being 100% fit and playing.”
The 6 feet 7 inches tall right-arm pacer utilises his ideal height to unleash destructive pace with accurate line and length.
