England have taken a 2-0 lead in the four-match Test series by winning the second Test against India at Trent Bridge, Nottingham as the hosts annihilated the batting line-up of the Indians on the fourth day of the match.

Speaking in the post match press conference, he said, “Those 100 really mattered when we were bowling and when we were batting we were four down but couldn't see that new ball through."
However, without taking the credit away from the English batsmen, he insisted that the Indian bowlers looked tired and had failed to give a commendable performance against the English. He blamed the continuous international cricket by India as the main cause
for the lacklustre performance of his squad.

Nonetheless, he expressed his confidence in the abilities of the team and reckoned a comeback by in the remainder of the tournament. “Well of course we can turn it around. You have to have belief in yourself and the team," he said.
