Bresnan, who took only two wickets against the hosts in their first innings, looked like a new bowler who was unplayable as he conceded 48 runs in 12 overs by grabbing important wickets.

In the 26th over, the bowler struck again as he removed India’s top all-rounder http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Yuvraj-Singh-c98364, after the batsman had scored eight runs off 32 deliveries. The bowler once again made full use of the short ball which was consistently causing problems
for the tourists. At the time of Singh’s wicket, India had managed to post 55 runs on the board for the loss of five wickets.
However, Bresnan wasn’t done yet as he struck gold on the next delivery by sending Indian skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MS-Dhoni-c2028 back to the pavilion on the first ball when the batsman was trapped right in front of stumps by an in swinging delivery that left the
skipper completely clueless.
Later, the bowler rammed another short delivery at http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Harbhajan-Singh-c61453, who was caught by SL Elstone at fine leg. With this wicket, Bresnan completed his first ever five-wicket haul in Test cricket.
