stance in the initial stages of the match.
The visitors, aided by a stellar century from skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/LRPL-Taylor-c1849 (113), managed to post a first innings total of 365, which India were unable to match up to during their first innings, reaching 353 before they were all out, courtesy a 7-wicket haul by Tim
Southee.

their second innings), and New Zealand were restricted to just 248 on the 4th day, setting India a 261-run target to chase.

by tea, and the host team requires 114 more runs in order to beat the visiting Kiwis and claim their second consecutive Test victory.
