Indian skipper, Suresh Raina, vowed that he will have enough batting practise in the nets ahead of Test series, admitting that he played wrong shots during the fourth and fifth One Day International (ODI) against West Indies.
Raina said:  
“I needed to spend some time in the middle. Play for 10-15 deliveries. Hopefully, I would have a couple of good sessions before the Tests with my coach and seniors. It will make me feel better before the first Test".
India clinched the five-match ODI series 3-2, where they earned consecutive wins in the first three games, while their last two matches ended in defeats. In the fourth ODI, Raina while playing in the middle-order, scored just ten runs, before he was caught

Raina’s batting again failed during the fifth and last ODI, where he was caught by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/AB-Barath-c886 for a duck off Pollard’s delivery.
The 24-year old gave a considerable batting performance during the first two ODIs, as he scored 43 runs in the opening game and hit an unbeaten 26 runs during the second ODI.

“I batted well in the first two games but in the next three I had a rush. I didn't spend http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gordon-Muchall-c1499 time” said Raina.
Playing in all five ODI innings, the left-handed batsman has scored 82 runs at an average of 20.50.
Raina was appointed captain for the Caribbean tour in place of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/G-Gambhir-c1447, who was sidelined, owing to his unfitness. Under Raina’s leadership, the Men in Blue took an impressive start in the tour, and thrashed the Windies in the only Twenty20 by 16
runs.
Raina, who has been engaged in cricket for a couple of months said that India’s hectic schedule has never affected his performance.
He added that he is always ready to play for his country in all the formats of cricket, including Twenty20, ODI as well as Tests.
The left-handed batsman has played 12 Test innings, scoring 373 runs at an average of 33.90, including one century, and, two fifties.
