India won the three-Test series against West Indies after beating the tourists by an innings and 15 runs in the second Test of the series on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, India.
Indian bowlers completed dominated the second Test and while before the Test West Indies were expecting a better show from their batsmen, the team actually failed to counter the Indian spin which left them in ruins and disgraced.
West Indies had a tough task at hand as not only did they need to draw the match but had to bat for two days which seemed like a distant probability because of the rampant bowling attack from the host side.
