West Indies bowlers gave an early blow to India by claiming two wickets as India reached 43 runs by the end of the 19th over, in their first innings in the third and final Test against West Indies. The match is being played at Windsor Park, Roseau,
Dominica, from July 6th to 10th, 2011.

The West Indian beginning was dismal as they lost their three early wickets at 35 runs. The fourth wicket contributed 49 runs and the whole team was bowled out at 204 runs in 76.3 overs.

Edwards got the first breakthrough of the innings when Vijay was caught at the wicket on the first ball of the 7th over, after scoring five runs.

He contributed just five runs when he was clean bowled on the second delivery of the 10th ball from Sammy, which put India under a bit of pressure.
The second wicket added five runs in the total as http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Vangipurappu-Venkata-Sai-Laxman-c94905 joined Mukund at the crease and tried to put off the bowling pressure.
Sammy introduced the leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo in the 15th over to get another wicket before the batsmen could settle in.
The Indian duo faced the challenge bravely and scored 43 runs by the end of the 19th over. Mukund and Laxman were unbeaten on 21 and six runs respectively.
The Indian batsmen need to work towards consolidating the innings and preserving wickets at this point.
