He scored 74 runs and the wicket was lost at 339 runs, Kumar gave some resistance by scoring 23 runs when the whole side was bowled out at 347 runs in 108.2 overs.
Fidel Edwards was the star performer for the Windies with five wickets while Sammy and Bishoo held two victims each and Chanderpaul claimed one wicket.
India had secured a vital first innings lead of 143 runs and they can wrap up the series 2-0, keeping in view their strong bowling attack.
