India will host Pakistan cricket team in 2012 - Cricket News Update
According to the reports, the Pakistan cricket team will visit India to play a bilateral series, which includes a 3-match test series and a 5-match One Day International series.
As per the International Cricket Council (ICC)’s Future Tours Programme (FTP), Indo-Pak series will be played in 2012 after clearance from the governments of both countries.
Before playing the series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 is scheduled to visit Australia to play a complete Test series.
Last time both countries faced each other was in the Asia Cup at Dambulla, in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 World Cup 2011’s semifinal at Mohali.
The series which was taken place in 2007-2008 between India and Pakistan was the last complete cricket series.
The officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Board of Control for Cricket in India showed their willingness to resume the cricketing affairs between the two countries after the semifinal match.
Earlier, according to sources, Initially, India was ready to visit Pakistan to play a bilateral series, but later they showed hesitation to come Pakistan on the basis of security.
However, the PCB was also willing to host the series at a neutral venue to start the cricket-relationship with its neighbors.
In 2009, the Sri Lankan team faced terrorist attack during their visit to Pakistan, since then foreign teams have been denying playing on Pakistan soul.
Pakistan has hosted its homes series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 at neutral venues.
Now, the FTP gives hope to the cricket fans to watch the live action between the two rivals, which will be good for the growth of the game.
Meanwhile, India is also going to host http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c749 at the end of the ongoing year. They will play a 5-match ODI series, and a Twenty20 fixture.
England will reach India on October 4, 2011 and the 1st ODI will be played in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Delhi-c780 will host the 2nd ODI on October 17.
The 3rd match of the series is scheduled at Mohali, on October 20, while the 4th game will be played at http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mumbai-c820 on October 26.
The last ODI of the series and a twenty20 match will be hosted by Kolkata on October 26 and October 29 respectively.
