Indian cricket legend, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Chinnadupargea-Sachin-c50607 Tendulkar, and the World Cup winning Indian skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, are all set to take their first flight in India’s Air Force Su-30 MKI fighter jet after being permitted by the Defence Ministry.
Both the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/OA-Shah-c2134 cricketers will wear the IAF uniform before taking off.
Following Team India’s success in the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Naik-c78500, announced to take Tendulkar and Dhoni in the most prestigious plane of the IAF. He submitted his proposal to the Defence Ministry for
approval.
An IAF official said, “Our proposal to fly the two cricketers in the Su-30s has been approved by the Defense Ministry and we are looking forward to their flight in Pune soon. Tendulkar is already our Honorary Group Captain. Once both Sachin and Dhoni are
free from their cricketing engagements, I will ensure that they get to fly Su-30MKI. They have done our country proud and it will be an honour for us”.
All the arrangements are complete but the date of the flight has not yet been announced due to the engagements of both players.
Dhoni is currently leading Team India in a Test series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760, while Tendulkar is having a rest at home after playing two long and tough tournaments, the World Cup, and, Indian Premier League (IPL), one after another at home.
