  1. obviously it was terrorists, India is the regional superpower and hated by the afghans and Pakistan's alike, hence it could have been either.

my money is on the US and UK embassies being too well protected, hence they want for what they saw as the next best target - India.

  2. possibly rogue Pakistan agents annoyed at Indian intelligence being passed onto NATO to attack targets within Pakistan?

or Iranian agents pissed off that India betrayed Iran at the IAEA?

    no one knows for sure

  3. Terrorists who claim to be Muslims were almost certainly behind the attacks.

And yes, it could have been Pakistan.

Who ever did it was trying to 'avenge' Kashmir.

  4. People believe that it was an act of terrorism (and it may well be, depending on your definition of the word), but I believe it is something deeper.

Pakistan was once part of the British Empire (as well as India), however, Pakistan is Muslim while India remains very much Hindu & Buddhist.  It is a religious battle.  Paskistan became Pakistan because it desired to be an independant Muslim state rather than a part of India. I am not saying that the Pakistanian people or government were up to the attack, but the Middle East is plagued with religious fanatics who believe what they do is God's Work.  (Or Allah's Work).

Terrorists had no reason to attack the Kabul Embassy, seeing as India is not a threat to the Middle East.
