Indian Passport Query?

Hi , iam a resident of India and i already made and indian passport when i was young , now when iam a teen my apperance has been significantly changed and i applied for a change in apperacne passport scheme as i have validy of 7 years left in the passport . The guy at the passport office told me that i nid to get an affidiatE from a notary and a police verfication . The doubt that i have is the police verification same as the verification certificate as indicated on ANNEXTURE 'F'

Hi, Soon I have to aply for re-isseu of my passport after 10 years.
I have submit my School certificate as a profe of date of birth , unfortunately I lost all my original documents .What shall i do ?
I have Birth Certificate isseu by Muncipal Corporation isseued 3 yars back ... can I submit that as a profe of date of birth ... will they accept ?

i live in a rented house and i dont have any ration card or any other residence proof.can u help me in going through the situation.
