20/20 cricket has been around a few years now. so its hardly innovative... its certainly interesting, but only because of the huge amounts of money involved.Whether it lasts in the future depends on how big a profit the organisers can make from it.

How can you not watch "all the match" ?? If you are a true cricket fan, then ANY 20/20 match is like a blink of the eye in time.

I dont support any IPL team, as I'm not Indian and dont feel any connection to any of the teams.

1) IPL IS HUGE! its spectacular and matches at EDEN GARDENS rock, its stellar with almost 100,000 crowds always

so yes, its good, but it puts TEST and ODI cricket in some trouble, and htey face the prospect of low crowds etc now...

1) Best thing that has happened to cricket since the Twenty20 format itself and Kerry Packer's World Series cricket in the early 80's though T20 is a much improved format.

However if this is going to be the no. 1 tournament in the Asian region I would like to see the BCCI grow the game with expansion to 10 Indian teams and one from Sri Lanka and one Bangladesh. I'd include Pakistan but they are seeking there own premier league.

2) Yes but our TV broadcaster in Australia (Channel 10) inserts alot of adverts during the game which means I change the channel each time one comes on and then I end up watching something else for a few overs.  I think I've seen more than the average person in terms of the number of games though they are not live in Australia. In fact I would of preferred the IPL be shown by a Pay-TV broadcaster because the coverage has been very very poor by our Free to air channel.

3) I dont have any affiliation with any team but I love Shane Warne so I'm backing the Royals. They are also colours of two of my other teams West Coast Eagles and Western Force so another reason to follow them. If Warne wasnt there maybe the Deccan chargers cos of Gilchrist and previously Symonds but I have no real affiliation.

2. I'm not interested to waste my time watching the Bangalore RC, Deccan Chargers,except for when they play with KKR!
