  2. Passenger trains stop at all stations and are really slow and are the cheapest.

    Express trains dont stop everywhere are the fastest, besides Rajdhanis and Shatabdis which are non stop lots of times.

    Mail are intermediate, travel at night generally, carry  the mail and are reasonably fast.
