  1. Quakers are solitary birds and very cage protective. They will attack anyone in their cage that is not their mate. So it is not a good idea to mix different types of birds with each other.

However, parakeets can live in the same cage with any number of parakeets.

  2. I have an umbrella cockatoo and a baby blue quaker. They tolerate each other. Dont play together, but dont attack each other. Cages are on seperate sides of the room. Both are out of the cages at the same time, but can not play together in the play area. They chatter back and forth, have no idea what they are say. Probally talking about me. LOL But they dont even try to attack each other and if one starts yelling the other is quick to join in. They can live in the same house hold but might not ever be buddies. Jo

  3. If you mean in the same cage...possibly, but don't just throw them together in the cage. If you want them in the same cage, start by putting their cages side by side and watch them when they are out together. If you do decide to put them in one cage, make sure it is plenty big so they have their own space. If you mean in one room or even household...absolutely! Just watch them until you know how they react to each other.

  4. Well depends on the birds themselves but I would never risk either one of their lives to find out.
