Indian dancing songs???help?

i am taking some classical indian dancing and our teacher wants us to learn this beat with these indian words can anyone tell me what they are,

the beginning sounds kinda like this

tari ki ta di, ta la unga ta ta, tata ta ke da (3x) .... kiti kana gadi gana da

any ideas?????

sorry..but are u sure those are the acutal words b/c they seem like they just mimic the beats

They don't mean anything.  They mimic the sounds that the drum makes, but they really don't have a definition or a meaning.
