I'm going to this restaurant: http://www.indiapalacemn.com/site/index.html

I think I might have the fish curry, what else looks good to you?

  1. Bring someone else so you can share some of this or get a go box.

I recommend start with some Samosas (vegetable or lamb) for Appetizers. They should serve these with Chutney (mint and sweet) for dipping. Get some Accompaniments - Pappadum (crispy lentil chip/wafer) and Raita (yoghurt sauce), also from Bread - Alu Naan. Try dipping all the pappadum and naan in the raita and chutneys - delicious.

Now the hard part - Entrées - if you like smoked food, the tandoori dishes will please; curries are yoghurt-based, masala refers to multi-spiced, anything with "saag" has spinach, "paneer" is a kind of semi-soft cheese (usually cubed). So pick your meat (or veggie) and try something exotic and tasty. I would lean toward the lamb, Rogan Josh if someone was buying but all sound wonderful.

Since they don't have veggie sides as such, maybe order a veggie dish or 2 as well. I'd recommend Palak Paneer (spinach), Bagan Bharta (eggplant) and Dal (lentils) - but you may prefer something with potatoes (alu) or fried veggies (pakora) that can be dipped in chutneys and raita.

For dessert, if you haven't had Gulab Jamun or Mango Ice Cream, you haven't tasted heaven. But you'll want to try all of these at some point.

Beverages - most of the beverages made with yoghurt (Lasses) or cream (Indian tea - chai) will fill you up by themselves. Mango Lasse is to die for, but save it for a light lunch or snack to go with samosas and chutney. For dinner, go with water, iced or hot tea (Darjeeling would be nice), or an Indian beer like Kingfisher.

    Hope that helps! =)

  2. Ah, you're making me hungry.

I'd go with onion bhajia for the appetizer, lamb vindaloo and alu gobi for the meal, and masala tea to finish up.

  3. Bring me back some of the Lamb Madrasi!
