now scientific investigation is require in current situation due to changes in crimes method. Indian police investigation is also too weak and poor which resulted acquital of criminals. corruption is also one of mainfactor to weak investigation. scientific investigation, corruption free police, strict training and deciplinary steps in cases of weak investigation now require to improve the quality of investigation. at present indian police is master in rough and roud behaviour, corruption and thrid degree investigation.

Indian police investigating criminal cases.What a laughable idea.The Indian public has lost all confidence and faith in the police force despite exhortations by the top guns.Unfortunately many top guns themselves or their progenies are criminals.Added to that a large

percentage of the force is out on security duty guarding

ministers,MLAs MPs and a whole lot of VVIPs,VIPs,

Movie Stars etc. purportedly because of some imaginary threat perceptions(in truth,having security cover is a status symbol).The cops at the various stations are normally out on collection duty at liquor dens,w***e-shacks,drug parlors and themselves getting

sozzled at the manufacturer's stills.With such multifarious activities to keep them on their toes for the better part of the day,it is most unfair to expect them to investigate criminal cases.

1 or 2 dead ..... who cares

3 - 5 dead ..... ok lets see into it

5 - 10 dead ..... humm something intresting.

more then 10 dead ..... will have to becaz of media interfering into the case.

IT Industry aside, India has a long way to go as far as effeciancy and refiness is concerned in all administrative areas. The police, I am afraid is in bamboo ( Lathi ) age if not in stone age compared to western standards.

Comparing  to Pakiland is no comfort at all.

Indian Police and Army are the best in the world.

They are very well know about the criminals.  But they didn't catch them

For example Veerappan........ They know Veerappan, where he is But they didn't catch him.  After the people are against and the Govt. announced gift, then they did a drama and catch the veerappan ( Not Catch)
