Indian rail class definitions?

Hello, I'm trying to figure out what the difference between sleeper class and third class with a/c means? Which would you rather travel in? Etc.

Chair Car - Sitting arrangement only = Non AC

Sleeper Class - Sleeping Berth three each side.

1st Class - Sleeping Berth two each side - 4 berth in each coupe.

AC 3 Tier - Sleeping Berth three each side with AC

AC 2 Tier - Sleeping Berth two each side with AC

AC 1st class or HA - Sleeping Berth two each side - 4 berth in each coupe with Individual AC control.

The 3rd class AC will be much cleaner and comfortable as compared to ordinary sleeper compartments.

sleeper is berths only, 3a /c  is sleeper with  airconditioning.[3times ordy; rate]
