Indian theme bedroom, but desired color scheme is blue/brown/green, not red/orange/gold?

I have no idea how to go about this, but I'm on a tight, tight, tight budget so basically all I can afford to get is paint, some fabric, and maybe a couple pillows or something. I'm not looking to make my room remarkably authentic, I just want some Indian flair. Some of the pieces I have already are mostly brown, blue, green, and some purple. How should I do this?

  1. BLUE - BROWN - GREEN is beautiful ~  I love it.

First paint 1 wall Brown, 1 wall Green, 1 wall Blue (make sure the tints/shades all go together.  You can do the 4th wall in a combo of all 3 colors in a diagonal stripe fashion or a "V" or double "VV" depending on how much work you want to do.

Get some remnant fabric that is indian print like and hang it over your headboard area of your bed.  If you can't find indian print ~ get 3 pieces of solid fabric in the 3 colors you paint the room.  HINT: get the fabric first and they can EXACT COLOR MATCH THE FABRIC when they mix the PAINT.  It is so cool they can do that now.

Get a pole or a dowel rod will work or even those plastic shower curtain rod covers will work - paint it if you have to and get some rings to clip the fabric and slide it over the rings ~ kinda gathered together in places.

This is such a cool idea to decorate your room in an indian style motif.
