Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger: Top eight game in the 2010-11 season – NBA Special (Part 1)
Danny Granger has been a member of Indianapolis based franchise Indiana Pacers since 2005, when he was drafted as the 17th overall pick. He is a versatile forward, who mainly plays at the small forward position, but
has played on the power forward position too.
On 12 December, 2008, Danny scored his career-high 42 points against the Detroit Pistons and matched it again on 11 January, 2009, against the Golden State Warriors. He was selected in the All-Star reserve team during the same
year. He is the only player in the history of NBA who has raised his scoring percentage no less than by five points each game every year for three straight years.
For this achievement, he was named the Most Improved Player of the 2008-09 season. In 2010 he snapped his previous career-high, as he thumped 44 points against the Utah Jazz. In the same year he won a gold medal with the US Senior
National team in FIBA World Championship.

Indiana Pacers 104 – Charlotte Bobcats 101
Danny Granger along with the Tyler Hansbrough led the Indiana Pacers to a 104-101 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on 29 October, 2010 at the Time Warner Cable Arena, Charlotte. Granger scored 33 points along with the five rebounds
and three assists for the Pacers. During the game Granger led the Pacers from an 11 point first half deficit with 13 points in the final quarter, including some whooshes from beyond the arc.
Indiana Pacers 99 – Cleveland Cavaliers 85
Granger spearheaded the Pacers attack, as they defeated the short-handed Cleveland Cavaliers 99-85 on 13 November, 2010 at the Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland. When LeBron James used to play for Cleveland, Granger loves to play
against him, as it always brought the best out of him. James shifted to Miami Heat, but Granger still enjoys playing against the Cavaliers.
In this game Granger made 34 points together with two rebounds and two assists. Granger has scored 30 or more points against the Cavaliers on five occasions made 13 shots from the field and five from the three-point range.
Granger, who loves to play against the Cavs, said after the game, "I used to always get excited to play against LeBron so that always got me up and I had a good game. Playing Cleveland now, I guess it's just a bunch of good games."
Indiana Pacers 107 – Sacramento Kings 98
Despite suffering from a nagging flu Granger dominated the Sacramento Kings, as the talented forward thumped his season-high 37 points to lift the Pacers above the Kings in a 107-98 win on 30 November, 2010, at the Power Balance
Pavilion, Sacramento.
"Danny Granger caught fire, they took the game from us and after that we were playing catch up," Sacramento’s point guard Tyreke Evans on Granger-
Granger, who made 12 of his 37 points in the fourth quarter, said after the game, "They were getting me the ball in spots where I like it. Once I got it going they kept calling plays for me."
Granger made 12 of his 19 shots from the field, 10 from the charity stripe and grabbed seven rebounds, along with two assists, two steals and one block during his 40 minutes stay on court.
