  1. If you contact the Council for Professional Recognition in Washington DC they can send you a list of scholarship help available in each state. They can be reached at 1-800-424-4310. Also try contacting your local child care Resource and Referral agency. It may be called a Child Care Council or a Day Care Council or some name like that. CDA is a lot of work but it can also be a lot of fun and very helpful. Good Luck

  3. In Indiana it is required now to have some college classes if you choose to be licensed. They give a grant so that the providers can have the courses required.
