  1. Ok I have no clue if Obama is planing on this or not I have not heard.. And it would only be Reserves in Indianapolis,But I wanted to add a little insight on this.. If he becomes president and wants a Reduction in Force he as Commander in Chief can do it.. But he does have to put in a bill first and the House and Congress have to agree and then The President has to sign it... How I know this is back when Regan was our President It did happen.. My hubby was part of the Reduction and had to go from enlisted to reserves because Regan wanted a reduction in force.. So The answer is yes and no he cant do it now but if he becomes President he can if everyone agrees.. Hope this helps... So the President does have a say in our Military...

  2. What does one have to do with the other?

Indianapolis is a city, since when does a city have anything to do, or say, in regards to military enlistments?

  3. What? Uh? Duh?

What does Obama have to do with military enlistments? That is absurd. No candidate can stop the military from recruiting and enlisting people. That just doesn't make any kind of sense.

That is just more mud-slinging. I wouldn't believe it any more for Clinton or McCain.  It is totally off the track.

  4. Why would Indianapolis be cutting down military enlistments?  It isn't set by the city, it is set by the number of people who are needed.  If the National Guard for that state only needs 50 Recruits from that area then that is all they are taking.  Who is up for election has no control over the number of people they are allowing to enlist in the miltiary at all.
