Indians and 7/11??

Why all this belittling in American media and television shows? How come when most Indians are doctors, computer engineers, businessmen, and pharmacists, the media creates this image that all Indians are 7/11 and convenient store owners(Thanks to the Simpsons)? I mean isn't that degrading? Most Indian students in the U.S go to med or business school...Why does American media always do this when they portray India? The sad thing is that many people believe it. Also, on the news they always show poor India...Do they ever portray the lifestyles of the 430 million middle class, 50 billionaires and 112,000 millionaires? Does the media always show the bad side of India because they don't want people to know the truth?

Americans are racist. How else do you suppose we allow ourselves to invade the entire world like we know better..
