world.
While talking about her opponent, Chen Hsiao, in the opening match of the Thailand Open, Arundhati said, "She is good player and I will have to be at my best to get past her. I had good preparations at Hyderabad and am optimistic about my chances."
After the completion of the Thailand Open, Arundhati will participate in the Singapore Open Super Series 2011, which will take place in Singapore from June 14-19. Her main target in these events is to play top class badminton and get maximum points which
will help her in getting a higher world ranking.
Arundhati said, "These back-to-back tournaments are very important for me. My first target will be to make the main draw. The basic aim is to improve my international rankings and good show in Bangkok and Singapore will only help my cause."
In the Thailand Open, Arundhati will join forces with her team-mate and World Number Four shuttler, Saina Nehwal, who will be the top seed in the event in the Women’s Singles category.
Pullela Gopichand, the chief national coach of India, will be there to help Indian shuttlers in producing better results in the upcoming back-to-back championships in Thailand and Singapore.
