India’s Harbhajan Singh roaring to perform in Champions League Twenty20
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Harbhajan-Singh-c61453 has claimed that he has gained fitness to feature in all formats of the game and will be aiming to make an impression in the upcoming Champions League Twenty20 tournament.
The wily spinner was ruled out of the series against England after featuring in the opening two Tests of the four-match series. He missed the remaining tour and returned back home while his team suffered continuous defeats at the hands of the English side
in every form of the game.
Even though the Indian team would have considered their star spinner’s omission from the series as a big loss, he was unable to make an impression when he was representing the team in the first two Test matches.
The veteran player has been criticised for his lack of form, but was not worried about it. He claimed, “These are valuable life lessons, and I take these things in my stride. I don’t get upset by what people say. I have worked really hard at the National
Cricket Academy. I am looking forward to the Champions League T20, and also the coming home series.”
Harbhajan further added, “Obviously, the injury came at the wrong time. But, I don’t think about the timing – it’s always bad - whether it was in a home series or away series. An injury is an injury. There was lot of sadness to come back home soon. But I
have never felt this good about my bowling.”
India will be playing a five-match One Day International (ODI) series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 after the end of the Champions League Twenty20. The team has struggled to do well on the British soil, but will be looking forward to please their fans once they host the
Poms.
Currently, the Men in Blue have been unable to win even a single match against the strong English unit. They were whitewashed in the Test series by 0-4 and lost the lone Twenty20 as well.
The team hoped for a better show in the 50-over format, but have not been able to win any game until now out of the first three.
