Indigo Child ?

Is there a difference between Indigo Children and children with psychic abilities ? Does "Indigo" simply mean psychic ?

Indigo means a lot of things, but it doesn't mean psychic.  Personally, when I hear "Indigo Child" I think of BS, since that's exactly what it is.  The NewAge types who believe in both would no doubt see a connection, but they'd be hard pressed to provide any data or evidence beyond a strong, subjective "feeling".

"Indigo" is when your dad who can't really be bothered about the fact that he has children because that's just not paranormal enough for his taste reads a book 15 years later and realizes that two pioneers of a new master race have sprung from his loins.

"Spiritually retarded" is when said offspring is more interested in radical political theory and reacts to the indigo announcement with a lecture on the topic of belief systems as a means of social control.

Yes,Indigo children are spoiled brats.Children with psychic abilities are pretending.The hilarious thing about them both.People actually believe in such nonsense.

yes there is a difference. psychic children are kids that are extra sensitive. indigo children  however are a new breed of children that have come to the planet to raise it's vibration.  most indigo children are psychic as they are meant to be so.. but not all psychic children are indigos

Yes they are different. Different in the sense that children who have indigo auras are believed to be generally psychic, but not all children who are born with psychic abilities have indigo auras. People have auras and commonly the auras are of varying colors and intensity. But there is a new observation that lately, a big percentage of children are born with just a single-colored aura which is indigo. Indigo babies are psychic in nature and their paranormal ability is more geared on the telepathic branch of e.s.p. However, this idea is still just a claim and is not yet accepted scientifically. If proven true, then the theory of a new higher form of man's evolution is indeed a reality.
