Question

Hey guys! do you know any unusual places worth to discover and events in Rome or around? I go there this summer for the 1st time and want to avoid it to become a photosession of wellknown sights. I love to get some new experience, mad about rocks and like to challenge myself. Any ideas?

mm, first, if i understood your question and you like some kind of alternative trip, don't do anything of what mega told you (sorry, this is my thought) this becouse he gave you interesting item for a rich good traveller who likes disco and good frequented places.

I am not sure about what exactly you mean with roks and challenge, but it seems not to accordig with his interpretation.

i suggest you to visit circo massimo in the night time, as there are many guys who play drums inside and have some fun (joint and some jugglers i mean) also prefer villa ada to villa borghese, because it is more funny. in the afternoon you can entrer from via salaria (ask for highest part of villa ada) and in the night you can watch some music live (ask for lower part of villa ada), many great groups play there in the summer. This i told you is something to do only in the summer period

These i'll tell you are valid for all periods

have fun in campo dei fiori ( untill 3 o'clock) if you like panoramic views visit giannicolo

visit and have fun in trastevere, maybe eating some ice syrupped cup on the tevere's bridge.

visit all trastevere in the morning and afteroon, there are a lot of stall and strange things.

also visit all san lorenzo district ( near termini station) there are a lot of ethnic pubs, and alternative places in the night time and a lot of interesting shopping placese in the morning

san lorenzo is the best district in rome to have cheap and 'rocks' fun
