Individual texting plan for a family talking plan? (T-Mobile)?

My family is sharing 3 phones on a family plan. However, I want to be able to send some text messages without running up the bill.

Is it possible for me to just get the 400 text messages/month for $4.99 for just my phone without having to get the unlimited family texting plan?

Yes, messaging bundles come in the three individual types that are applied to just one line ($4.99 for 400, $9.99 for 1000, or $14.99 for unlimited) as well as the unlimited $19.95 shared one. The individual ones can go on any line whether it's on a family plan or not.
