Individual vision coverage?

my insurance doesn't cover vision, does anyone know of a good plan?

  1. As stated above, individual vision coverage is a joke unless it's provided as an additional benefit to another policy. You will pay less if you do your own negotiating.


  2. A good plan is to walk into one of the stores in a mall and negotiate.  Insurance may save 25-35% off their regular costs.  But you can negotiate 50-60% off.  Vision coverage is kind of a joke....

    ...consider the source being someone who sells insurance.  If you really, really want it you can usually piggy back it on a health or dental plan.

    oh and I use 1800contacts for contacts....much cheaper than through the doc...

  3. It isn't worth it.  Just pay cash.

  4. Spectra you may can find it online that is what we have and it is great, $10 office copay and my sons glasses were $20 and my contacts I have $150 credit a year
