The Internazionale head coach went on to state that players who can add value to the team need to
be bought, rather than gifted individuals with zero teamwork.
The tactician has been busy preparing the Beneamata team for the upcoming season and has gone off to a promising
start to the season. The young coach has guided the team to another victory in the Trofeo TIM; a mini tournament which also includes the likes of Juventus and AC Milan.
Victories over these two teams, especially one which includes the Serie A Champions is heartening for the
San Siro faithful, who had to endure a nightmare 2011-12 season. The Nerazzurri have also been in impressive form in Europe, after overcoming Hajduk Split 3-0 away from home.

The Nerazzurri outfit will be hosting the second leg on 10th of August, and their progression into
the next round is virtually guaranteed.
When the former Primavera head coach was quizzed over their inability to sign top class players, especially
in light of recent occurrences, Stramaccioni was philosophical in his stance. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 lost on the signatures on a number of targets, most prominently to Paris Saint-Germain, who have been bidding big amounts of money for players in the past few seasons.

Inter have not hidden their desire of signing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Moura-c26908, however, PSG have hijacked their bid, and proposed
an astronomical amount for his services to his club, Sao Paolo. PSG bid 45 million Euros for his signature, after which the San Siro outfit pulled of the race for his signature.
The Beneamata were also interested in adding http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ezequiel-Lavezzi-c13073 to their squad, but PSG offered 30 million Euros
to the Neapolitan outfit for his signature, which http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 accepted.
Reflecting on their inability to financially outmuscle the big clubs, Stramaccioni added:
“Individuality cannot change the idea of a team. I think it’s important that we focus on players who are useful and functional. The characteristics of the team go beyond a single name. I would see a problem if a player arrived
who did not function in the way we play. When the first name on the list fades it is not a problem. What is important is that the players who do arrive are functional.”
Stramaccioni is preparing his men for the second leg of the European qualifying round, to ensure that no major
upset takes place.
