Indo-US nuclar deal is good or bad for the world?

.Indo-Us nuclear deal is good for India and US but is it good for World?, Will India become a threat againt international community in future or it make the world a more greener by making those 1billion people depend on nuclear energy rather than pollution causing petrolium and coal?

Romeo understands the crux of the issue.  India is a good example of what happens when a country is responsible.  When a rogue state like Iran or North Korea push for nuclear, they get a far different treatment.  India is already a nuclear armed country.  It is also a democracy.  There is very little downside and lots of upside.

I think it's good for the world in general, the next generation of materials that will create everything from more effecient solar cells to carbon fiber autmobile components will require lots of energy and lots of people to produce it. We need a new China, weve just about used up the old one.

They brought energy deals (Enron) and genetically modified crops that ended up hurting India, so I'm not surprised that this would be harmful as well.

Any nuclear war is bad for the world because the weapons are too powerful.

Its not like the ones dropped in Japan in 45. The ones now will plunge the world into a nuclear winter we might never recover from

India's return to the fold is good news for the world in general.  India is allowing international inspection of its civilian nuclear reactors.  If Iran would do the same thing it wouldn't be having all the problems it is having today.
