Indoor cat excesiive drool/foaming the mouth?

she's producing a lot of spit, almost looks rabid like. recently got a puppy, not sure if he's beating her up.

 Cats salivate for many reasons, if it feels nausea it salivates, if  its scared it will salivate, if its having a motion problem it will salivate alot. Even in some cases, if you pet your cat it will salivate, but these are all benign reasons for excessive salivation in cats.

If your cat is drooling other then the aforementioned  reasons and the foam seems to stay for more then two three days, you should take it to a vet immediately.
