  1. Ours was on the Beach, at Hilton Head, South Carolina, last year in April.  Yes it was toasty, but unbelievably beautiful!!  It was what we both wanted.

We checked the weather ahead of time, and the Ocean was right there...next to us! WOW!! What great pictures we will always have.

When the Preacher pronounced us, everyone on the Beach clapped and it was really neat!! (Spring Break!)

I hope your Wedding is as beautiful as ours was.... go ahead...have it Outside.

  2. Ours is outdoor in a garden in the back of our hotel (which is nestled very close to a "woods" area. It's beautiful.

our venue comes with a rain back-up room in the hotel, though, so we're covered. Some places will do that, but some won't. So if you decide on outdoors (which I think is the best choice ... you usually don't need decorations) make sure to look into rain contingency plans.

  3. Where do you live?  Personally no matter what in July I would say defiantly Inside.  Rain may not be much of a factor where you live, but it's usually hot and humid in July.  It's miserable to get all dressed up, do your hair, and then have to sit outside and get all gross.  No one wants to do that at an occasion like a wedding.

  4. I like outdoor way better. But we had an indoor wedding because we live in Alaska and our weather is too risky.

Or you could have the ceremony outside and reception inside or visa versa.

I just love outdoor receptions with the white tents! It is so classy.

  5. Indoors.  July is a very tempermental month.  It could rain, be muggy or hot as h**l.  Unless you're going really casual dress, with a BBQ do it inside.  We got married 6/13/08 and it was inside at a hotel, but there was a patio where people could step outside for a smoke.

  6. Indoors unless you have a really nice back up! You don't want to be shoved in a stuffy meeting room if it rains. Even a "nice" room may leave you disappointed if your outdoor plans were much more to your liking. Its just better to find a wonderful indoor location that you are happy with, and it may be nicer for the guests if the weather is not prohibitive but is uncomfortable. Lots of older people or people with health problems may have problems in the heat.

And be careful with covered but otherwise open areas, unless they are really big it may still get wet and cold in the rain if its really bad or if its windy.

  7. outdoor, but whatever place you book make sure they have a backup plan for you in case of rain.  I booked a garden but we have a HUGE gazebo as back up if needed.

  8. Outdoor is always a gamble with weather. Be safe inside.

  9. july is tooooo hot to have an outdoor wedding..

  10. play it safe have it in doors, that's how i had mine.
