  1. i have mine done..mine didnt hurt getting it done...but then again i've got...LOTS..of other piercings..and none of those hurt either. but yeah..it hurts..a LOT for most people. its strait cartilage so its just nerves and not fat or anything. idk the whole science thing about it but its really sensitive..and ive had mine for about 3 weeks. its still gross..still crusty...and still really raw..but i an comfortably take out and put the bar in and out..if you have long hair you'll probably want to wear it up nonstop the first week or so cause it WILL get caught in the balls on the end. i can finally get to where i can lay on it for part of the night without it hurting too bad though. good luck.

  2. I had mine done, but I eventually took it out.

Everyone has a different tolerance for pain. Personally, for me, it hurt absolutely horribly. My best friend got her's done, though, and she said she hardly felt a thing.

However, one thing most people agree on is that the healing hurts a lot. You won't be able to sleep on the side you have your industrial piercing on. I don't mean you shouldn't...I literally mean you can't. It'll hurt way too badly. The piercer who did my industrial told me it takes about three months to heal fully. To prevent infection, you'll need to clean it with sea salt solution a couple times a day. And also, keeping your hair away from your ear as much as you can helps a lot, too.

The reason I took mine out was because it hurt so bad during the healing time and I didn't wait for it to heal. But if I would have waited, it would have been fine, just like all other piercings once you let them heal.

    Good luck!

  3. well, if this is your first piercing, or if you only had a piercing when you where really young. then yes its going to hurt.

but the real pain will be after you get it pierced.

i took some excedrin migrain medicine and that helps alott.

it takes about a year to heal. a long time but you only have to wait 6-8 weeks (id say 8 weeks) till you can take it and change it.

cleaning: first 6-8 weeks your gonna want to clean it 2-3 times a day

    after that 1-2 a day.

and it will cost about 60 dollars plus a tip.

hope you like yours if you get it.

    mmkay hope i helped (:
