  1. While I do agree with what many people are stating above, also keep in mind that the top hole of your industrial piercing is tucked inward towards your skull, there's a lot of blood flow and if you do happen to roll on it in your sleep it's kinda pinched a bit.

Clear discharge that doesn't run and even slightly yellow "crusties" are all normal behavior for new piercings. The green puss is a little worrying that does sound like the start of a minor infection and like others said try and keep it clean, sea salt is best, h2ocean if you wanna bother but it's really just over priced sea salt haha. Just warm water, sea salt, and definitely have qtips on you to get all around the piercing :)! Be careful not to put too much salt in though or it might get a little itchy/stingy x). Again agreeing with people above me soap during a shower isn't a bad idea if the piercing is now comfortable to turn and move it a little, just be sure to wash it out so that soap doesn't get caught in it, you know what it's like to not wash out the shampoo well enough in the shower? Itchy and irritating on your scalp!

As far as the blood, again like I said before the top hole is near your skull etc. etc., when I first got mine pierced I was worried cause it was swollen and tender to the touch, I even woke up one morning to find it crusted with blood and still with fresh blood coming out. I went to my piercer to check on it and he reminded me that another possibility is that when the holes are pierced it can be hard to line the holes up perfectly (this is hard for ANY piercer) and so when the bar is in it may push a bit against it cause slight irritation. Also if you have hair long enough to touch it that can irritate it as well, I have long, thick, wavy hair and wake up to it constantly snagged on it and had to gently pull it off to tie up my hair or anything it was a real pain in the a*s.

Wow sorry for the mega-rant xD didn't intend on that I just kept talking. I now have had my industrial for a good few years and it's fine, only hurts if I snag something on it real bad! Good luck, industrials are awesome! :)

  2. I got my industrial pierced 2 days ago. I have a little redness and some swelling on my bottom hole. I believe its part of the healing process though. I use sea salt soak 2 times a day. And unscented antibacterial soap in the shower. (work the soap into a lather and cover the entire piercing, twist jewlery slighty then rinse. Make sure all the soap is rinsed completely.) My piercer told me to do that. Hope everything works out for you!!

  3. I got my industrial pierced 2 days ago. My bottom hole is red and slighty swollen. Though I dont have any of the discharge like you mentioned. I believe its part of the healing process. I use sea salt soak 3 times a day. When I shower I use unscented antibacterial soap(Dial) all over the area let it sit for a minute, and twist the jewlery then wash the piercing out (My piercer told me to do this) Hope everything works out for you!
