This machine is new, although it was sitting unused for the past five months (indoors.) It stitches nicely, but it makes a grinding squeak(?) as if something is rubbing and NOT happy. On about every third turn (but only when the presserfoot is all the way down), the hand wheel becomes very hard to turn, as if something is binding. I've examined it to the best of my mechanical knowledge (via the manual and experience with non-industrial machines) and cannot find anything obviously wrong. It is well-oiled and clean, on level ground, with a reliable power source, a properly installed needle, and seemingly happy thread tension.PLEASE... I'd be very grateful for any advice or help in troubleshooting. ?Thank you!
