Question:

Indy student area in Montreal?

I've been to Montreal several times, and I've never been able to find an area there similar to Queen Street West in Toronto/College Street or like the SoHo in NYC. If anyone has recommendations on where I should go, I'd totally appreciate it. Vous ÃƒÂªtes certainement bienvenus de rÃƒÂ©pondre en franÃƒÂ§ais!

The indie area of Montreal is by the plateau and mile end. Around St Laurent and Mont Royal and north of Mont Royal.

The Plateau is fantastic--I prefer the area around St. Denis/Mont Royal streets, but the area around St. Laurent is also fantastic. FANTASTIQUE, actually! :)

This ain't Toronto or NYC but try my neighborhood - McGill Ghetto!
