i went to the hospital they found a visable bump between the inside corners of my eyes which will grow if sunlight or wind comes in contact with my eyes.

This is called a pingueculum or plural, pinguecula. These growths are benign growths and you shouldn't worry about them. Use artificial tears often and this will help keep them from getting bigger or irritated.
