  1. east county san diego:

    santee.

    lakeside.

  2. Inexpensive is hard to define.

You need to find a job first.  I know you are looking for a place to live. But if you can't find a job it doesn't matter.

A lot of the "cheaper places" to live in California also have higher unemployment rates and it is hard to find a job if you don't have qualifications.

If you can, maybe move out here with a friend so you can have a roommate to cut the cost of bills.  Once you know the area, then you can figure out if you want to rent a room to help also.

Generally speaking there are less expensive areas to live in Central California - not the coast and then the desert areas - San Bernardino and Inland Empire/Riverside areas.

I suggest visiting here first, then figuring out if you can find a a job. If you want to wait, then you should have at least 3 months of expenses saved up while you look around for a job.

    Good luck.

  3. yah you probably have never heard of there places but visalia, fresno, bakersfield and the area around those towns. They are big but not that big so if you are looking for a big city atmosphere they are not for you!

  4. try up north around Sacramento, lots of pretty little towns like Rocklin and  Loomis are not that expensive.

  5. why are you moving from az

    what is your age

some questions that need to be answered before you can get a good answer

i live here in chandler and go to california quite a bit the areas in the deserts are a good place to live

anywhere away from the beaches i would say maybe 2 to 3 hours away and you will find affordable housing

  6. Any longer, not really.

California has soared in living expenses.

I'ts almost as bad (if not worst in LA) than NYC.

I was born in NYC & lived in both places...it's way too expense.
